Today I will be covering the company called Exxon. They are a company dedicated to energy and constantly using science to find safer and more efficient ways to deliver energy. They are the largest company based on trading petroleum oil and gas. Exxon has existed for 125 years and started out as a small kerosene marketer to the energy powerhouse that they are today. It is based in Irving Texas of the United States of America.
There is a lot of debate going around about Exxon and how much they really care about the environment. Some people state that Exxon has been keeping the government away from talking about fossil fuels because the mega corporation is entirely based around fossil fuels. Exxon has recently started a million dollar oil rig in Russia's arctic sea. A very controversial location due to the recent Ukrainian crisis. The question if Exxon could also contain an oil spill is also up for debate. Exxon will remain a mega corporation until fossil fuels go the way of the dinosaur and humanity is forced to find alternate means of energy.While becoming an employee of Exxon may be a good investment for right now, down the rode as there is less and less natural gas and oil, the company will slowly fall in stock unless they decide to transfer to different types of energy. Personally I do not want to be an employee because I want to be a physicist instead.
