The weekly News of October 6th 2014

Ancient Greece, you may have heard it from the movie 300 or in your western civilization class.  While the topic of conversation among archaeologists inst about Sparta lately.  It has been about Athens.  The famous Parthenon is coming close to collapsing entirely.  A structure which has survived for 2500 years.

Curiosity killed the cat.  However the cat is the martian mountain that the probe Curiosity recently drilled its first hole into.  The history of Mars can be further uncovered from a small sample of soil due to any trace minerals leftover.  The soil can even tell if there was once water in the soil.  If water is found then there is a possibility there was once life on Mars.

Oh Windows 8, how nobody liked you.  Windows operating system has been a pattern.  Every other new OS has been universally acclaimed while the even numbered OS's have been universally panned.  Microsoft either can not count to 9 or wants to break the curse by completely skipping Windows 9 and announcing Windows 10.  Windows 10 returns to the Windows 7 home screen set up while keeping the bloc like setup known for Windows 8.   Only time will tell if Windows 10 will be a success or another universally hated OS.
